Local Vacations & Experiences Vancouver Island (LoVE VI) is a BC-registered not-for-profit society that provides personalized trip planning guidance and financial support to families in need on Vancouver Island.

How LoVE VI works

LoVE VI partners with the local tourism community to create accessible, meaningful vacations and experiences for local families. We connect with Vancouver Island social service organizations who work with families in need, then guide those families through trip planning and financing one-, two-, and three-day vacations right here on Vancouver Island.

Please join LoVE VI in helping Vancouver Island families explore where they live.

Are you a Vancouver Island-owned and operated tourism business? We are seeking in-kind contributions from the local tourism community to make these experiences possible.

We also welcome financial contributions as every dollar helps families explore where they live. For every tourism partner donation, LoVE VI pledges to purchase/match it with an equivalent experience from that partner. We always book directly with local tourism operators to ensure the maximum financial benefit to the community.

Families are referred to LoVE VI through Vancouver Island social service organizations (no direct family to LoVE VI referrals please). If you know a Vancouver Island family who deserves LoVE, please encourage their support organization to connect with us!
